Bio
Kylee McDaniel was born in Rockville, Maryland in 1999. After graduating from Rockville High School in 2017, she earned her Arts and Sciences Associates Degree in 2021 from Montgomery College. In 2024, she earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a Bachelor in Education from Towson University. Kylee currently holds a teaching certification for grades K-12 in Maryland.
Artist Statement
On my path to personal growth, I throw ceramics to release tension within myself. As an artist and an educator, I am constantly learning and exploring various mediums throughout my work. My subjects are spontaneous and completely dependent on my mindset at the time I start the project. I thrive from opportunities to express myself and gain knowledge. From planned units, professional development, and commissioned work, my portfolio is growing from my human experience.
